Jets quarterback Tyrod Taylor was recognized as the Jets' recipient of the United Way of New York's Hometown Hero award at the 32nd Anniversary Gridiron Gala held at The Glasshouse in New York.

The New York Jets have a strong commitment to developing youth flag football programs, including initiatives like the "Play 60" program. Friday they hosted multiple high school flag teams from throughout New Jersey at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park to compete in a round-robin tournament.
